Their Colorstay Ultimate liquid colors have been pared down quite a bit, and I've tried #1 Nude, but lately I'm not sure if it's my winter pallor or what, but it doesn't look as good as I remember - maybe a bit too cool or pink? They do have a fabulous lip liner color - Sienna - which manages to 'true autumnize' a lot of my older lipstick shades that aren't quite right. I haven't tried Endless Spice, Bare Maximum, or Everlasting Rum, but they seem like they might work. I've found some of the Revlon options to be pretty good, specifically Colorstay Overtime liquids in Faithful Fawn and Always Sienna, which is a great red. A number of the lipsticks you mentioned have been discontinued and I'd love to know what you think of the more recent options out there.

Love this site! I am a true autumn and have slowly been updating my wardrobe to reflect that fact - I've always loved warm, terra cotta browns, olive greens and gold but studying the color palette has helped me overcome my fear of orange! I was wondering if you could update your makeup list, though. However, both sister seasons are a blend of Winter and Autumn, with Dark Winter leaning more towards the Winter palette and Dark Autumn leaning more towards the Autumn palette.

MAC Ramblin' Rose ( Per Christine: 'Ramblin Rose is an option for a peachier/coral look, but unlikely to be your day wear.') Dark Autumn is one of the three Autumn seasons and sits between True Autumn and Dark Winter on the seasonal flow chart.

Eye make-up colours are also taken from the neutral area of the True Autumn palette except for eyeshadow. Try before you buy. A few may not be just right for you, True Autumn, but most should be darn good. Often a True Autumn will look like a typical autumn, with reddish toned hair, light brown or green eyes and fair celtic skin that goes golden in summer.
